I can’t find a certain flavor anymore. What happened to it?
Although we’re planning on launching several new flavors and products, at this time we’re selling only our three most popular protein bars—Chocolate and Peanut Butter, Cookies and Cream, Grandma’s Lemon Square, plus our most recent offering, Cookie Dough Brownie. Why? Our commitment is to provide you with the freshest bars possible. We’ve found that focusing on our best-selling flavors as we come out with new bars is the best way to do that.
Are FitJoy Protein Bars truly gluten-free?
FitJoy bars do not contain any ingredients that directly contain gluten. While the bars are produced in a facility that processes wheat, the production lines go through an extensive cleaning and are tested for the absence of gluten before our bars are produced on that line. Our production facility also has industry leading quality programs in place to ensure no cross contamination. Every lot of our bars is tested to ensure that each bar contains less than 10ppm gluten.
We do this all with the assistance of the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG). They are the organization behind the GF symbol on our packaging. The Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), a program of GIG, is a leader in the verification of quality, integrity, and purity of gluten-free products. One of the top certification programs in the world, GFCO inspects products and manufacturing facilities for gluten, in an effort to maintain strict industry standards. GFCO has currently certified over 30,000 products in 29 different countries.
In fact, the person who originally started FitJoy also has celiacs and wanted a bar that he could eat!
Who are FitJoy protein bars for?
Our protein bars aren’t just for those who exercise every day. They’re for anyone who is looking to eat a tasty, healthy, filling snack. Eat one as a convenient, on-the-go meal replacement, or as a pre- or post-workout snack. Even kids will enjoy our fun size!
Is FitJoy really grain-free now?
That’s right! We are now completely grain-free. Our products no longer contain ingredients like dextrose, grain maltodextrin, corn-based isomalto-oligosaccharides, rice flour, etc.
How is grain-free different from gluten-free?
Gluten is a group of proteins found in certain grains, so if a food is gluten-free, it might still contain grain. Grain-free foods do not contain any ingredients that come from grain! That means no wheat, corn, rice, barley, rye, etc.!

Are there any allergens in FitJoy Protein Bars?
*All bars now contain milk (lactose), soy, and almonds.
-Milk allergen from lactose content within whey, and milk protein
-Soy allergen from soy lecithin, as an emulsifier. FitJoy bars do not contain soy protein.
-Those who may have dairy and/or soy intolerances should speak with their physician before consuming.
Our Chocolate Peanut Butter protein bars now contain the above allergens, as well as peanuts and sesame.
Our bars are produced on equipment that also processes tree nuts, eggs, and wheat.

It says that your bars are GMO-free, but it doesn’t look like you’re certified non-GMO. What’s up with that?
While our bars pass the PCR test as being GMO-free, and while they strictly contain ingredients from qualified suppliers with supporting documentation identifying GMO-free or Non-GMO status, it is impossible to obtain official certification for any items containing dairy.
Our pretzels are dairy-free and certified non-GMO.
What ingredients contribute to the carbohydrate content?
Erythritol, chicory root fiber, soluble tapioca fiber, vegetable glycerin, sugar, and tapioca maltodextrin contribute to the carbohydrate content in select FitJoy bars.

Are FitJoy Protein Bars vegetarian-friendly or vegan-friendly?
Be on the lookout for future product releases, which may include vegan offerings! Currently, FitJoy bars contain whey and milk protein, both of which are dairy. Therefore, FitJoy bars are lacto-vegetarian friendly, but not vegan or ovo-vegetarian friendly.
Do you use artificial sweeteners or colors?
All FitJoy products are completely free of artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners.
Why no maltitol?
Unlike most protein bars that advertise a low sugar content, our bars don’t contain maltitol, a sugar alcohol known to cause stomach issues and bloating. Maltitol also scores high on the glycemic index.
Are FitJoy Protein Bars kosher?
Yes! We are happy to announce that all of our products are now kosher certified.
Is your palm oil certified by the RSPO?
All of our palm oil is certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
Can I use a promo code on the Subscribe + Save option?
Yes! You can enter in a promo code when you order the Subscribe + Save. The promo code will only apply to the first subscribe and save order. (If you see a deal that you want to take advantage of in a future month, you can cancel or skip your subscribe and save option for that month and apply the new promo code when you check out). But by using the subscribe option, you always save 10% and get free shipping!
How do I skip an order on my Subscribe + Save function?
Log in to your account, click on “Manage Subscribe + Save,” then click on "Delivery Schedule", and finally select "Skip" next to an upcoming order.
How far in advance do I have to skip/edit/cancel my Subscribe + Save function before my scheduled order ships?
You should try to skip/edit/cancel as soon as possible, but you have until the day before your cycle starts again to make changes. Your cycle starts on the same day of your first order and continues at the interval you’ve chosen (2, 4, or 6 weeks). So let’s say you order on the 5th of the month with a two week interval, your next order would automatically on the 19th (two weeks after the 5th), and so on and so forth.
How soon can I cancel my Subscribe + Save subscription after I order?
You may cancel the Subscribe + Save feature after two (2) charges (the savings you get are contingent on your commitment to a second order). If you are only interested in placing one order, there is often a different deal running on our site that you can use.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally directly from our website at this time. We do have some authorized retailers, depending on the country.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30-day return or exchange policy. We ask that you send back the bars for a full refund to the card used for the purchase or toward an exchange for a different flavor.
How do I process a return?
Email us at email@example.com. We will ask you for the order number or the name and date on the order.
How do I cancel my order?
Please reach out to us by email or phone and we will try to cancel, depending on how far along the order process is. If your order has already made it to the warehouse, we will no longer be able to cancel and you may have to go through the refund process of sending back the bars.
How can I track an order?
Once the order has shipped, you should receive an email with the tracking number for the package. If for some reason the email gets lost or was not sent, we can provide the tracking info if you email or call us.
